Blogs I Read and Recomment

Name: Baku Views
Author: Rustam Jamilov
This blog is about: economics and analyses
Language: English
Why I read it: Rustam is my former classmate and simply a good friend of mine. He is a thoughtful economist, drawing his experience from top Business Schools he attended, as well as from his current position as a lecturer of Azerbaijan State University and his job as a Junior Economist of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. He's always excelled at studies and shown vivid interest in economics. Some of his articles were published in several periodicals. Baku Views is updated regularly with current views in economics with a high-quality and well-tempered sense of humor, very much inherent in Rustam.

Name: Observations
Author: name not published, unfortunately
This blog is about: finance, personal finance
Language: English
Why I read it: The author's educational (BBA, MBA, PhD) and professional (management jobs at top DJIA firms) backgrounds make it clear why one should follow the blog. The author of Observations indeed makes interesting observations on finance, yet has done it consistently over a long period of time. This isn't a news blog, rather an 'observations' blog, which makes it even more exciting. To me, at least. Strong like.
